Wilton is the CEO of the Mental Skills Institute, bringing over 20 years of experience in coaching and coach education. He has partnered with professional sports teams, Olympians, and businesses seeking to expand their potential. Drawing from his own experiences in high-pressure environments, both in elite sports and corporate settings, he offers coaching that is both relatable and practical.
Wilton holds a wide array of professional coaching qualifications across various modalities and approaches. This expertise provides him with a comprehensive and global perspective on performance, enabling him to design impactful coaching programs tailored to the unique needs of each client. His commitment to creating and delivering transformational trainings and experiences are at the heart of his work with the Mental Skills Institute.
Meet Merryn
"Meet Merryn, co-founder of the Mental Skills Institute. As an Occupational Therapist with over 12 years of experience in OT and leadership, Merryn has worked across a variety of settings both in New Zealand and internationally. Her passion for coaching is deeply rooted in her extensive background, which includes working with individuals from international schools, government agencies, and palliative care.
Merryn's approach is holistic and collaborative, emphasizing the importance of a multidisciplinary strategy over a siloed one. In addition to her OT qualifications, she is trained in several other modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Merryn’s commitment to helping others enhance their quality of life is at the heart of her work, guiding her efforts as an Occupational Therapist and coach.
